We left the dock at 8:00 am and wasted no time getting the lines in the water. The weather was perfect - partly cloudy, but still plenty of sun to keep us comfortable. We started with some deep-sea jigging, working the different depths to see what was biting. It didn't take long before Justin's rod doubled over - he had a Mutton Snapper on the line! That fish put up one heck of a fight, but he kept his cool and brought it in. Shortly after, my line went screaming as I hooked into a nice Mahi Mahi. We worked that fish hard, enjoying the jumps and acrobatics before finally getting it in the boat.

The fishing was steady throughout the trip, and we had a blast switching up our techniques - trolling, light tackle, heavy tackle, you name it. In between the catches, we took in the beautiful South Florida scenery and swapped stories. It's always that perfect mix of great fishing and good company that makes these trips so special. Even when we didn't have a fish on the line, we were still having a fantastic time out on the water.
